The SERVO-FIX vise’s ultra-compact design drastically reduces weight while delivering highly reliable rigidity and stability.
The vise features a pull-type clamping action which, together with the exclusive NLP system, applies angular pressure to the movable jaw when the traction spindle is activated. This prevents jaw lift, ensuring perfect workpiece clamping with less torque.

The exclusive hydro-pneumatic activation system can be adapted to all SERVO-FIX vises and to countless custom clamping devices.
The AIR LOCK system consists of integrating a hydraulic movement on the front of the vises or devices, which pulls the movable jaw by 10 mm.

FAQ
1 – Is the vise hydraulic?
The hydraulic system in vises is merely a workaround to reduce the operator’s physical effort. It does not ensure effective performance, and it also leads to frequent maintenance.
2 – How much clamping force does the vise provide?
Users often don’t know the exact force required to clamp parts safely, which leads them to mistakenly assume that a hydraulic system is necessary.
3 – Don’t the jaws have serrations?
The serrations found on the jaws of other vises are needed to fit angular shims in order to compensate for their poor closing performance.
4 – Doesn’t the vise have a rotating (graduated) base?
The rotating (graduated) base serves only as an angular reference and does not guarantee the required precision. The SIF is perpendicular (square) on all bases, making it much more efficient to set the angle using a goniometer (protractor).
5 – Won’t chips get into the spindle?
The SIF’s exposed locking system does not allow chips to enter, as it is equipped with scrapers for this purpose.
